#3MT Rhodes University 🇿🇦 – Science Communication

Just picture it: You have only 3 minutes to present the research that took you three years (or more) to conduct from start to finish. And you must do it in a clear, compelling, and engaging manner, without using any fancy words or scientific jargon, for an audience of non-specialists!

I was one of the two winners at Rhodes University, and got selected to participate in the national #3MT Competition in South Africa. It was pretty intense at the national competition. There was so many researchers presenting their findings, and each talk was compelling ! Unfortunately for me, I did not win at the nationals (as much as I wanted to) … But that was a great experience, I learn a lot about science communication. Now, it’s only up to me to do better !
