
Previously called Latoia albicosta, also referred to as the white-edge Latoia.
Forewing 14 – 21 mm. Thorax setose, reddish-brown. Abdomen light orange. Forewings divided by an oblique line, basal section dark brown, distal section lighter, with the leading edge of wing distinctively white. Hindwings light orange with brown veins,
Caterpillar is green with bristly tubercles.
Caterpillars found on white stinkwoods (Celtis spp.), probably polyphagous. Multivoltine species – meaning they can have two or more broods of offspring per year – with adults found from September to June.
